Standards
California Christian College welcomes students who have a demonstrated commitment to Jesus Christ, who are spiritually, physically, emotionally, and academically ready for college work, who have upstanding moral character, who accept the purposes and standards of the college and who would benefit from this distinctive Christian College Education. Students are admitted without discrimination as to race, color, nationality, gender, and ethnicity. California Christian College reserves the right to, and does, maintain educational and behavioral standards based upon religious considerations consistent with its role and mission.
Admissions Standards:
Students who attend California Christian College are pursuing degrees with a thoroughly Christian, educational focus. We are looking for students who…
- Have a living and vital faith in Jesus Christ. This is demonstrated by a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Have a high standard of moral and ethical behavior that is in concert with general principles of Christian behavior (specified in the Moral/Ethical behavior agreement and verified through recommendations)
- Have a high school or college GPA of 2.00 or better.
- Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Have a TOEFL score of 173 out of 300.(International students)
- have a SAT 1 combined score of 700, an ACT of 14 a personal interview with an admissions counselor. (High school students and students with less than 32 transferable units)
Documentation Required
- Submit the application for admission along with a $40.00 application fee
- Submit a statement of your salvation experience (included in the application)
- Submit an essay describing the following
:
- Your relationship with Christ
- Your short term goals
- How will CCC assist you in achieving your goals
- Submit high school transcripts, GED or their equivalent.
- High school graduates and students with less than 32 college level units need to submit SAT or ACT scores
(SAT of 700 or ACT of 14) or have a personal interview with an admissions representative.
- Submit a letter of Recommendation from your Pastor
- Submit a letter of Recommendation from an Educator, Church Leader or employer
TRANSFER STUDENTS: Submit transcripts from ALL colleges and universities you previously attended.
Application for Admission: International Students.
In addition to the above requirements:
- Provide a TOEFL score of 173 out of 300 on the computer based test or an equivalent score on the written test.
- Pay a deposit that covers the estimated expenses for the first year of attendance in US dollars.
- Submit a non-refundable application fee of $50.00 US. You may include this with
- your deposit for the year.
- Submit a current photo.
Note: Russian speaking students entering our Sacramento program do not need a TOEFL score.

Each year California Christian College offers two formal opportunities to visit the campus.
Seniors Only: November Cost: $20.00 to cover food and activities.
College Days: To be held in the spring of 2004, dates and times are TBA.
Seniors Only is for Senior’s in High School. It is held in the fall each year. Seniors Only is an opportunity to visit campus and explore the options and questions you have as a senior about attending CCC.
College Days is held in the spring of each year and is open to all students who are in the 9th-12th grades. This is a chance to get an early look at CCC and begin to plan ahead to attend CCC in the future.
