65 and Still Climbing
President Wendell Walley has done it again. He has come up with an awesome adventure for us all to participate in. He's going to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Is he crazy for wanting to climb the 4,737ft to the top? No Way! So what if he is 65 and counting. He's going to the top!
Since his heart is for Californing Christian College, he wants to turn his dream of climbing Half Dome into a fund raising event for the college. It is a wonderful way to get everyone involved in helping out CCC.
The hike is 17 miles long. On the way to the top of Half Dome is Vernal Fall and Nevada Fall. Vernal Fall is a three mile round trip. Nevada Fall is a seven mile round trip. Choose your destination and get a sponsor for this awesome Hike-A-Thon.
It is all happening on Saturday, June 7, 2008. Join us in maiking a lasting memory and a wonderful victory for CCC.

You can either get a doner to sponsor you per mile or request a flat donation. People can even donate online using PayPal.
