Art Martinez, BA

My experience as a student at CCC was life changing. God prompted me to go to CCC to prepare for full time ministry. I learned in the classroom and from the example of faithfulness and unconditional love I saw in faculty and staff. I work for Teen Night, an inner-city youth ministry for high risk youth.

What’s new
Our Goal

To arm graduates with the ability to compete in the market place and serve effectively in ministry.

In Memorium

On May 27, 2010 Sophomore student Marcell Ford went home to be with the Lord. Marcell was Youth Pastor at his church and worked at a group home with at risk boys. We will miss this quiet, gentle man whose pas-sion was serving the Lord.

Congratulations!

Hands Across the Valley presented Gabriel Her-nandez with the Outstanding Adult Volunteer of the Year Award for his work with youth through Fresno/Madera Youth for Christ. Gabe is pioneering new styles of outreach, such as the use of posi-tive graffiti to challenge youth to make wise choices in life.

CCC to Launch Online Classes August 2010

Bible Survey, OT I & II and NT I & II, will be launched August 16th for non-resident adult students. Both the Old and New Testament are divided into two sections each for a total of 12 units of credit. Complete enrollment and begin your first 3 unit class August 15 and receive a 50% tuition discount. Only one class may be taken at a time and OT is recommended first as a foundation to NT studies. Each of the four courses is one semester long.

Payment for your first course may be made in four monthly payments of $145.50, due August 16th through November 15th. Or, commit to all four courses over the next four semesters and pay $97.00 per month over 24 months. This includes tuition at half price, registration fees, and technical fees for all 12 units. Textbooks are extra and some additional fees may apply to some courses.

Call immediately for details and help us pioneer online courses. Other courses are planned as demand grows.

Pastors, Sunday School teachers, youth workers, and anyone serious about studying the Bible should sign up for these classes.

God Is Faithful All The Time!
Another school year ended June 30th as Anna-Jean and I conclude nearly 11 years. Without your help it would not have happened and some of our graduates may not have made it at a different institu-tion. Low student-faculty ratio gives them an advantage here and almost guarantees their success if they try. This is not the case at most schools.
Major improvements this year include a new tile floor in the cafeteria and complete renovation of the “life fitness room” that students have wanted to see happen for so long. Thanks for your gifts and volunteer help that changed these dreams into reality.
Alumnus Hez Maynard helped us obtain a very nice conference table and chairs, along with classroom tables and chairs donated by his company. We are also launching our first online courses this fall—Old Testament Survey I & II and New Testament Survey I & II. Each class is three units and the student has an entire semester to complete a course. Anyone interested should contact admissions immediately.
