REPAYMENT

Exit Loan Counseling must be done once a borrower drops below half-time status (whether by taking less than 6 units, withdrawing from school completely or hopefully graduating). The grace period starts at this time as well .  After the 6 month grace period has expired repayment starts.

To calculate your estimated monthly payment use the repayment calculator at www.studentloans.gov.

For information on your loans go to NSLDS (National Student Loan Data System) at www.nslds.ed.gov. This site will give you information on the total amount of loans borrowed, the name and contact information of your loan holder, and the status of each loan.
